We often get asked a lot of questions about what should a teen girl wear for a pageant dress. There is a clear difference between the ages of a teen that can help you determine what type of pageant dress to wear. Teen girls age 13- 17 typically wear a more modest pageant dress, a semi ballgown on most occasions is appropriate along with a modest bust line. A teen girl 16 and up can wear a pageant dress that is not as modest as a younger teen but, must keep in mind her age. A miss pageant dress are for young ladies 18 and older and depending on the pageant they are competing in will dictate the best style of pageant dress they should select. At So Sweet Boutique, we offer pageant dresses for both teens and misses and have been dressing girls both Nationally and Internationally for over a decade. We our proud to say, we have dresses many National title holders.
If you are coming to the store to select out a pageant dress for a state or national title, we do strongly suggest you make a private appointment during the weekday so, we can help take that extra time to find the perfect pageant dress.

President Donald Trump, a former beauty pageant owner, has come under fire for his behavior around contestants. But a post is distorting remarks Trump made about his actions at Miss Universe pageants to make it sound like he boasted about walking into a changing room full of Miss Teen USA pageant contestants as young as 14 and "inspecting."
Buzzfeed reported the allegations against Trump in 2016, when he was the Republican presidential nominee. A fifth contestant later came forward, also alleging that Trump came into the dressing room as contestants were changing. Buzzfeed reported that 11 other contestants from the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant said they "did not recall" Trump entering the dressing room.
The post distorts remarks Trump made when speaking with radio show host Howard Stern in 2005. At the time, Trump was talking about his behavior during the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants, where all contestants are over the age of 18.
Five former Miss Teen USA contestants have accused Trump of walking into the dressing room when girls were changing during the 1997 pageant. But there is no evidence he said this quote about the Miss Teen USA pageant.
Seminole patchwork is not the patchwork we associate with quilting bees and bedspreads. Think of it almost more like cotton origami, squares of cloth rolled and folded into symbols: flags, crosses, bird, traditional elements. The symbols are sewn into strips, and these strips are sewn together to make garments like jackets, vests and skirts. Many Seminole tribal members wear patchwork daily, and nearly always wear it for special occasions like pageants.
Making patchwork is intricate and time-consuming, and a finished garment can cost hundreds of dollars. For reasons of tradition and economy, pageant contestants often learn to make it. Twenty-year-old contestant Alexis Jumper is one of them.
For another seamstress, patchwork is also a business. Ashley Cypress is a member of the closely related Miccosukee Tribe. She sews for natives and non-native people alike. She uses social media expertly, especially Instagram. She's dressed a lot of pageant contestants.
Two popular Prescott runner-ups from the 2017 pageant, Jamia Smith and Heavenly Zachary, took care of business in 2018, both looking seasoned, poised and confident in their respective competitions, and captured the top two Miss Nevada crowns.
Smith was triumphant being named the 2018 Miss Nevada County in a field of five, while Zachary won the Jr. Miss Nevada crown over seven other candidates. The overall field of contestants on Saturday saw 32 participants. Both Smith and Zachary are Prescott cheerleaders as well, and they both were Nevada representatives last year in the 2017 Southwest District pageant. 2ff7e9595c
