SCT tuning devices will not modify or delete vehicle emissions. SCT products purchased comply with the Clean Air Act. Tunes that are preloaded in our devices have gone through hours of testing to ensure the safety of the drivers and the environment overall. Custom tuners are required to follow the guidelines of the Clean Air Act as they develop their own tunes for our devices.
If you are unable to find one that suits your needs locally, we recommend looking online for custom tune dealers that can work with you remotely to get you a tune. They'll be able to e-mail you tune files or send them using cloud services and get things dialed in that way. A good resource for finding a good custom-tune dealer is forums. People on forums are very vocal about who makes good tunes.*Cloud tune delivery is only available on BDX and GTX devices.
High performance parts do not always carry a warranty. If a warranty is applied to a product it will only be covered under the manufacture policy. Please notify us if you have an issue with a part as we will work with the manufacture and our customer to get the situation resolved in order to provide the best customer service possible.
For any recall going forward, be sure to ask the dealer to not connect and/or reflash the ECM in any way with an OEM tool. Failure to do so and you will run the risk of locking yourself out and losing the ability to tune your truck with a custom file. For the new pump recall, these are basically "no-tune" pumps from Dodge/RAM and the truck should run just fine with the current pump in your truck. Some customers may experience slight surge or stumble at idle or even partial throttle, in this case, we would recommend the customer revise their tuning to the CP3 conversion file. While the tuning companies we work with will do everything they can to help, at the end of the day if this update is done, there is little that can be done at this time.

What Can My Device Do? For starters, your device is extremely versatile. In addition to being your flash programmer it can perform many other functions. It can easily load store up to 10 of your 5 Star Tuning custom tunes. Your device can also be used to monitor your vehicle engine parameters. (Parameters can range from engine RPM, Speed, Coolant Temperatures and many more). The tuner can also be used to datalog your vehicle to further dial in current or future modifications. Your flash programmer will also store a copy of your factory tune and your vehicle can be returned to stock at anytime.
Which Tunes Are Available For My Application??Our entire lineup of tunes for your vehicle can be found by visiting our?calibration request form. All of our current tunes for each application can be found under our custom tune dropdown menu.
Once you have selected the tuner that best fits your needs, place your order online or via phone for the tuner that best fits your needs. If ordering online, please input your vehicle information and select your tunes via our drop-down menus. If your ecu strategy code off of your vehicle is the most current calibration from Ford we will tune your vehicle based on your submitted information. If the coding is not current based on Ford?s current TSB?s, a blank device will be sent to you.
